I also don't understand why Outlook 2007 is not capable of downloading files
from my email server and deleting when I had successfully done this with
Outlook Express for many years. I tried setting up my accounts a pop3 but was
informed they could only now work under the IMAP options.. feels like yet
another Microsoft monopoly?
I do have all accounts set to download full content but this just does not
happen. BTW - I'm running Outlook on Vista, for my sins.

There is no such option under tools, account in Outlook 2007 (I think
there use to be in Outlook 2000 to remove email from the server when
it was downloaded. I am having the same problem. So I logged into
msn.com, hotmail, and there are message that have been there for
months. So, Again, how do I setup OUTLOOK 2007 to remove email from
the msn server once it has been downloaded???
Unless you're connecting via POP, there's no way to do what you ask.
