Thanks but, as I put in my original post, this does not work (see below for
text)
Can anyone tell me how to remove this add-in??
Richard

When I try to remove the Add-in (via Tools | Options ....click "Remove") I
get a msgbox titled "Microsoft Visual C++ - Runtime library" and the
following message:
Runtime Error!
Program C:\PROGRA~1\MICROS~2\OFFICE11\OUTLOOK.EXE
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.
When I click OK Outlook closes.

I use Outlook 2003 and installed Microsoft's free SMS add-in
(mosa_usEN.exe).
The installation went as expected but when I ran Outlook I got a msgbox
saying: "Microsoft Outlook SMS Add-in requires Microsoft Office Outlook
2003
Service Pack 1 or later to run".
The Download Center did not state SP1 was a requirement and...guess
what....I am not running it. As I don't run the rest of Office 2003 I
didn't
really see the need for the SP.
When I try to remove the Add-in (via Tools | Options ....click
"Remove") I
get a msgbox titled "Microsoft Visual C++ - Runtime library" and the
following message:
Runtime Error!
Program C:\PROGRA~1\MICROS~2\OFFICE11\OUTLOOK.EXE
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an
unusual
way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.
When I click OK Outlook closes.
When I restart, I get the same MsgBox as in paragraph 2 above.
I have looked in the registry at
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\Outlook\Addins
and the only entry is
Microsoft.VbaAddinForOutlook.1
I would prefer not to install SP1 (unless Sue Mosher or someone similar
says
it is a good idea) so can anyone tell me how to remove this add-in?
Very many thanks
Richard
