Re: Forcing The Configuration Wizard to Start

Tech-Archive recommends: Speed Up your PC by fixing your registry

'Control Panel|Mail|Show Profiles', click the existing profile shown, and
click the "Remove" button. Next, click the "Add" button, give the new
profile a name, click OK, click "Next" to add a new email account, and DO
NOT select Microsoft Exchange Server, select the CORRECT type account and
proceed through the rest of the wizard.

Use the Mail applet in Control Panel (under User Accounts) to set up
your profile to use only a POP account, not an Exchange account.

I installed Outlook 2003 on my home machine, and tried to import the
setup
from my Office machine, which is configured to go to an Exchange
server. I
can't access this server from home, so I only want to set up for POP3
access.
Starting Outlook at home, it looks for the Exchange Server and won't
proceed
unless it gets one. It closes when I cancel the request for an
Exchange
Server ID, so I can't work on deleting that email account and setting
up what
I need. How can I force the Configuration Wizard to start up when I
start
Outlook at home, or get rid of the current specification? I'm
comfortable
with Registry updating.
