Always follow an attempt at an in place upgrade by creating a new profile
from scratch.
Exactly what files are you "removing" and how?

I had 2003 on my machine and the only choice it gave me was to upgrade. It
migrated all my settings and data files itself. This is actually the beta
2
that was posted to msdn yesterday so I don't know if this is a new
ability.

No.
Why would you "upgrade" to a beta? State more clearly what you did to
migrate your Outlook data to a beta installation.

I had outlook 2003 set up on my computer with 2 pst files to archive my
older
mail to. When I upgraded to 2007 it now locks up when I try and open
the
program. If I remove my pst archives then it runs without a problem.
Anyone
else had similar issues?
