Start Outlook once with the /cleanviews command line switch to remove all view customizations, then click View>Arrange By>Current View>Define Views. Select the Messages view and click Modify. Make your mods. Those mods should now apply to all folders using the Messages view, which is the defailt view for all folders containing mail items.
