Vince, it worked! Copying the file across the network to my local computer
enabled me to Import the file (as Microsoft wrote in my previously mentioned
article.) I just don't know why "Import" does not work across the network
the same way that file transfers do when dragging and dropping(??).

It was one of those nights when I was exhausted and couldn't try one more
thing. Very rewarding feeling!
