Outlook error-The name could not be resolved

Hi
When I add a new user in SBS2000 it asks me do I want to create a mailbox
and I tick yes, but when I go to the properties of the new user, it doesnt
display any email addresses i.e. username@xxxxxxxxxxxxx I have ticked the
box: automatically update email addresses and when I log on as this new user
it still doesnt vreate any email addresses. When I go into Outlook 2002 on
the user's PC, I add a new mail account and type in the user's name of the
mailbox and I get the following error:
The name could not be resolved. The name could not be matched to a name in
the address list.
I get this error for all the new recent users I added. Does anyone know why
this is happening now?
