Retrieval of old emails/email account configurations

I was having problems with my McAfee Virusscan being recognized by my Outlook
2003. Both of these had been previously installed software on my computer
when I had bought it
I tried to have it go back to the default configuration so that it would be
able to find the original configuration so it would work.
However, when I run Outlook 2003, the configuration wizard is asking me for
my accounts, and I do not want to proceed with the wizard because I am afraid
that I will lose all of my email and previously configured accounts.
Are my emails and email account configurations that I had set-up before
gone, or are they retrieveable? I did locate my *.pst file that should have
the information.
I am on Windows XP Professional with Office 2003 installed.
