I have MS Office 2000 with MS Outlook on my WIN95 PC. MS Outlook 2000 worked
fine for already 2 years. All of a sudden, I got the message "The file
mailbox.pst could not be accessed. Access denied".
I ran scandisk.exe., I removed MS Office 2000 and reinstalled it. Still the
same error message. I ran Inbox repair but that didn't help. The properties
of the file have "read only" unmarked.
I tried to copy the file to another PC via the LAN but access was denied to
that file.
I am now running scanpst.exe but I don't think this is going to address the
access problem. I really want to solve this problem since this file has all
my PAB addresses and my emails. Please help me out. Thanks for your help.
