test user that after that patch is installed and the user will start outlook,
it says outlook is preparing for the first start.
is that a bug or is that really needed?
I'm just affraid to rollout this patch, because of the many valls to our

The auto-installer, reinstalled the update overnight. Again my Outlook was.
stuck. I uninstalled again and rebooted. Everything worked. I thought
perhaps I should install Office 2007 SP2 (per Roady's question was it already
installed) - did the install only to find not only was Outlook getting stuck
at the initial screen, it was crashing. I had to download the utility from
Microsoft to uninstall SP2, get to an administrator command line, run the
utility, remove SP2, reboot and finally my Outlook works again. I have
turned auto updates off for the time being.

This update was auto-installed overnight and my Outlook would not start, not
even in SAFE mode. I uninstalled the update and it works fine. Any
suggestions?
