Re: Constantly being prompted for network password

Thanks, Brian. Using the information in your first suggestion, I did the
following: I verified my email passwords with my ISP provider. I then
deleted one of my email accounts in Outlook and re-established it to see if
this would make a difference. There was no difference - I am still being
prompted for the passwords for all of my email accounts. I then tried Method
2. I was unable to run Outlook in safe mode. After typing in
"outlook.exe/safe", I got a message that it could not be found. So I opened
Outlook the normal way, went in and disabled all COM add-ins. I then
restarted Outlook and am still being prompted for passwords. I'm not a PC
guru so I'm hesitant to try Method 3 - backing up and restoring the registry.
I'm afraid I might mess something up. So I took a look at your second
suggestion. This one was way over my head.

I don't understand why everything was working fine and then all of a sudden,
it's not. It's looking like I might have to pay someone to fix the problem.

Thanks for your help and have a great day!

I've been running Microsoft Office Pro 2007 for over a year. All of a
sudden, I'm having problems with Outlook. When Outlook is open, a dialog
box
comes up every 5 minutes prompting me to enter my network password for the
email account shown in the dialog box. Since I have 3 email accounts, I'm
getting 3 of these prompts every 5 minutes. It's very annoying. I checked
my email acounts and all 3 have the passwords in them and the "remember my
password" box is checked. How can I stop these prompts from coming up? Any
help you can give will be greatly appreciated.
