Re: Default Mail Client - error prompt

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Are you logging on with a restricted or administrator/owner account? (want
to make sure it is the later)

Have you tried going thru the "Set Program Access and Defaults" and see if
it set to Outlook Express?
