Tell your sender to stop attaching the graphical files (i.e., they are
MIME parts with content disposition of "attach"). Have the sender
instead insert the image into the body of the message (Insert menu or
copy/paste) so their disposition is "inline". Then you'll see the
images within the body of the e-mail rather than a flag telling you
there are attachments.
Outlook does NOT have the preview area appended onto the display of a
message to show graphical images with content disposition "attach" as
does Outlook Express.
