Hello

I have tried the access.general, win2000.registry, and office.setup sections
of
newsgroups, and noone was able to pinpoint my problem, hopefully you can
help me:

I'm trying to send a database object (Report, etc.) as an attachment using
the Send To command in the File menu (and the SendObject macro command), but
I continue to get the following error:

"Microsoft Access can't open the mail session; check your mail application
to make sure that it's working properly"

To verify (maybe) that it was not a problem with Outlook Express, I executed
the
same command in both Word and Excel 2000, and I encountered no problems. I
then attempted to do a "detect and repair" from the Help menu using the
original Office2000 disc. It claimed that it had completed successfully, but
the problem persists.

I have typed the exact quoted error message into the KB as well as google,
but I've found nothing pertaining to this problem. There is a similar
problem for
ACC97 on a Win98 OS, and I attempted that solution. Unfortunately, it asks
to delete a registry entry that was not there. Perhaps there is a registry
entry that exists for Word and Excel that somehow was corrupted in Access;
or maybe it as nothing to do with the registry at all.

Any insight to this problem would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your time,

DV
