Unable to send file by choosing right click & mail to option...hel

When I right click on a file to send it via email the email page opens to
allow me to put in the address etc, however when I click send all I get is a
message saying unable to send mail.
I have no problem sending when I open a new email & attch the file I want to
send, it is only the right click option that is not working.
Can anyone help me?
