This problem started this morning with me.
I have a domain name and a pop3 server that I use from a 3rd party ISP
provider.
I've had Microsoft Office XP installed in my computer running windows 2000
SP4.
There are about 6 email accounts (5 pop3 accounts / 1 imap account).
All the incoming/outgoing settings are correct and when tested during add
email account in outlook XP, testing ends with 5 green checkmarks.
I have scanned my computer for viruses this morning and could not find any
(used NAV 2004 with updated virus definition).
I can receive emails normally on all the accounts, but starting this morning
I am unable to send emails from any of my 6 email accounts using microsoft
outlook XP.
In our office, there are currently 5 client/workstations connected to a
router which connects to a DSL modem. There is no firewall in the router and
the local network is working fine for all computers within the intranet.
I have tested each email account individually, outside microsoft outlook XP
(using their web interface to compose and send messages) to try to figure out
if the problem was in their server, but all the messages I sent from the web
interface (www.compuserve.com; etc....) were delivered correctly to the
destination email address
Why can't I send emails if all the settings on each of my email accounts are
correct ?

The other problem I have right now is that although my outlook XP always had
the settings checked to "SAVE copies of messages in SENT ITEMS folder"
everytime I sent a message from outlook XP it does not save automatically on
SENT ITEMS folder as it used to do.
Once I hit reply or forward on an email message, I send it but it does not
appear on the SENT ITEMS folder. It just vanishes. I searched for the subject
of each message to see if it could be in another folder (instead of SENT
ITEMS) but the messages I created and sent today really weren't anywhere else
on the Personal Folder.
I have also searched my archived messages and there was nothing recent
there. My auto archives settings are "Auto archive items older than 3 months".
The size of my "outlook.pst" file is currently 286 Megabytes.

If there is anyone out there that has encountered such problems, please reply.
