I came back from being away from my computer for about 20 minutes and it
showed a Microsoft error box stating that Outlook had an error and will
restart. I said "yes" to it and Outlook came back up without my preview
pane. I tried to go into the menu and turn it back on but it says it is on.
I also tried re-loading Office and repairing Outlook through the "Help"
portion of the menu to no avail. Can anyone tell me what happened and how I
can fix the problem? I have Windows XP and Office XP, all updated.

Thanks..
