Mcafee antivirus error when opening Outlook

Hi,

I have a user who recently bought a dell which had mcafee
loaded on it. I uninstalled it, networked the pc and
then installed norton since we have a corporate version.
Whenever, he opens outlook now an error comes up that
says:

"The add in c:Program~\mcafee.com\vso\outscan.dll could
not be installed or loaded. This program may be resolved
using Detect and repair on the help. Unable to load
c:program\macafee.com. You may be out of memory, out of
system resources or missing a .dll file."

I just want the message to go away since we don't plant
to use mcafee on this pc. Can anyone help?
