Thanx, your response to item 1 solved my first problem.
On item 2, I created a new data file called xyz.pst in a subfolder where the
original personal.pst is located. Would the problem be due to the fact it
is in a subfolder and can't see it? When I open outlook it sees my
personal.pst file. I set up new folders with the new xyz.pst file path and
name in the properties dialog box. When I use rules to move the incoming or
outgoing messages to the new folders for the xyz.pst file it tells me it can
not move the messages to those folders.
Thanx for you help...
