OST Caching mode and scheduled old e-mail deletion

Hello,

I have a question for you. Here at my firm we schedule our e-mail to be
deleted from a users inbox after 14 days. My question is, if we have remote
users or even on site users use ost's and caching mode, will the old e-mail
still be deleted even if it is downloaded localy to a users pc? Thanks for
