How can I delete an item that is stuck in the Outbox?

I attempted to send a message with an attachment that was too large for my
server. Now it is stuck in the Outbox and will not open or delete. It only
says "Can't open this item. Outlook has already begun transmitting this
message." when you try to open it. Any idea how I can either delete it or
open it so I can remove the attachment? Thanks.
