In this case you are better off copying the pst to the new computer and then
opening it and copying the contents over or importing it via File | Import
and Export ....
2003 has a new file format (although it can support he old format) so, for
best benefit, don't overwrite the existing PST.
Note you might have to rebuild any rules you have.
