When you write a file to a CD the system normally sets the "read only" flag to True to indicate that the file can be "read" but it cannot be "written to". ... When you then insert that CD into another computer you can "open" the CD and you can then open the .pub file by double clicking it, which will cause it to open up in Publisher. ...
