I'm not aware of this issue caused by SP3, but maybe. I searched
Microsoft Knowledge base for "program trying to access email address
office xp" and found nothing about a patch on this.
However, the symptom you report is sometimes caused by computer viruses.
So it would be prudent for you to you check your machine with
anti-virus and spy-bot detection software.
You can also do more seaching on Microsoft's download site for the patch
you are seeking. Sorry, but I can't spot it for you.
