3rd try, since I got ZERO answers the first 2 times.
Surely *someone* has had this happen... If not, how do I file a bug
report with MS?
Ok, this seems really weird to me. I have a few folks in my dept who
use Outlook (most of them 2002). They get attachments from most
everyone just fine (most people use either Windows or a Linux variant as
their desktop machine).
The problem occurs when a person using a Mac (eg. dept head, using Mac
OSX) sends an attachment. They get the message fine, but no attachment.
Well... sort of. If I look at the size of the message, it seems like it
is big enough for the message and attachment - just no "paper clip".
If they read the same message using some other client (Eudora), the
attachment is there. Note I said "same message" - really the EXACT same
message (using Imap), not just a resend or a forward. In this case, the
message has 2 .pdf attachments (not even in the list of dangerous in the
MS KB articles).
I read the archives of this group first (how about that!) and installed
the Attachment Options plugin from
http://www.slovaktech.com/attachmentoptions.htm, thinking it would help.
But alas no dice.
Suggestions?
