How are you accessing the POP3 server and from what version of Outlook? Are
you using profiles?

After searching google.groups.com and finding no answer, Mike - EMAIL
IGNORED asked:
| Please consider this situation:
| 1 - Outlook is installed on two boxes.
| 2 - Both talk to the same Outlook.pst file, which is not
| in the default location on either box.
| 3 - Both pop3 from the same server.
| 4 - Both have option set that prevents deletion of the files
| from the pop3 server on download.
| Now:
| a - Box 1 downloads some mail.
| b - Box 1 knows what it downloaded, so it doesn't get the
| same mail twice.
| c - However, Box 2 doesn't know what Box 1 downloaded, so
| I download the same mail twice.
| The obvious question: How can I get Box 2 to not repeat
| downloads without deleting mail from the pop3 server?
| Thanks in advance,
| Mike.
