Outlook 2003, keeps sending 300 + messages and growing

I have a pc here that every time you hit send/receive it
receives its email messages then tries to send. Even when
there is nothing in the outbox. After canceling the
sending. Th messages just keep piling up. now im to the
point of trying to send 300 pluss messages. After
scanning for viruses, and running every little virus
removal tool Icould find and still showing nothing. I
reloaded windows xp, and office xp. Did all updates for
both and the problem still remains.

This client keeps all his emails on the server, because he
moves from pc to pc. About 6 different computers. We
have even deleted his email account from the email server
and recreated it.

Any ideas? This problm does not happen with his outlook
2000 email, but it does show with 2 of his outlook 2002
accounts.
