Hi Sabo,
First I'd like to confirm with you by default Outlook 2003 will synchronize
the Deleted Items folder in Cached Exchange Mode.
So here please help me clarify following points:
1. Did any error message appear?
2 Was there anything logged in Synchronization log?
Next, please check whether you have enabled any filter for Deleted Items
folder. You may refer to the steps below:
1. Right-click Deleted Items, and click Properties.
2. Select Synchronization tab, click Filter button to check the status.
3. Check the Statistics for this folder.
In addition to Roady's suggestion, I suggest you create a new profile and
you can refer to this Knowledge Base article:

If anything is unclear, please feel free to post.
Best regards,
Terry Liu

60Is there a reason for this? Outlook will synchronize every other folder
60besides this on. We are trying to recover delete items.
