distribution lists & email name display

hi - apologises if these have already been asked - i did do a search within
the ngs but no luck.

how to create distribution list without displaying the e-mail addresses
within.. eg "managers" distribution list to be displayed only.

also sometimes for e-mail address displays for 1 person it would appear as
'smith, john' or john smith without the ' used... i've search within the
properties and how i want the names to be displayed but to no avail [i have
made it to display surname, firstname].

excuse the lack of 'shift key' involvement :^)
