How can I search Outlook contacts for a phone number?

This question has perplexed me literally for years -- just
discovered this newsgroup, hopefully one of you can help
me!

I use Outlook 2002 (on a WinXP PC, if it matters). In the
past, when using far LESS powerful address book-type
software, I have been able to search for phone numbers to
match with name.

What I mean, and by example:

I received a call last night on my cell phone which listed
the NUMBER that called, not name. Before I return the
call, I would like to query my Outlook contacts to see if,
among the 1600+ contact entries, this particular phone
number is among them -- so I can identify the name of the
caller.

I have tried EVERY search way I can think of, but none
works. I can't imagine this elementary kind of search is
not possible with this mighty program.

Any hints/help available? Many thanks in advance.

Jonathan

ps - if possible, could you copy answer to my personal e-
mail at beetlebung_corner@yahoo.com? I may have
difficulty logging back onto this newsgroup. Thanx...
