Attachments removed from outgoing emails

Since installing Office 2003 (with Outlook -- replacing Outlook Exp.), any
attachment that I send with outgoing email is stripped from the message
before it reaches the destination. The Sent box shows each message with
its attachment still in appended.

I've tested this with the Symantec internet security software both on and
off (no change), and my ISP Help has been of no use. (The folks in India
simply don't understand what's happening.)

This scenario is true on all three machines, all running Outlook 2003, that
share my wireless network and the DSL hub. (I made no changes on the
configuration of the hub's firewall, and no other changes on any machine,
except installation of Office 2003.)

Thanks for suggestions.
