Outlook 2003: Check the outgoing email account before sending?

Hi,

I'm pretty sure the answer to this is "no", but here goes...

I use Outlook to collect both work and personal email via POP. So, I
have several email accounts defined. I would like all personal email to
be sent via my personal account(s). Sometimes I forget to change the
account before hitting send, and personal information is being routed
thru my work's SMTP server.

Is there a way, perhaps a magic registry setting or some configuration
trick, to get Outlook to force the choosing of a specific outgoing
account before sending? In a way, I'd like to NOT set a default
account, so Outlook would prompt for an account when I hit send.

The only idea I can come up with is to create a dummy account, make that
the default account, and don't include that in the Send/Receive group.
That way, mail would sit in the Outbox until I remember to set the
proper outgoing email account. But this seems like such a kludge.

I like the look and feel of Outlook 2003 but, if you've ever used
Mozilla Thunderbird, it handles this issue a lot better.

Any better ideas?

Thanks,
Scott

PS: A related question: is there a way to get my outgoing personal
email filtered to a different "sent" folder than the default? It looks
like I can set a filter to "move a copy" (what does that mean? is it
move, or is it copy???) of the email to the other folder, but I want it
to do a full move. I want my work sent folder to contain work email,
and my personal sent folder to contain personal email.

Thanks again...
