Yep, that's AutoPreview at work, all right :-) Check View | Current View
(or View | Arrange By | Current View, if you're using Outlook 2003) -- is it
set to "Day/Week/Month View with AutoPreview"?
Also -- it's usually best not to post graphics to newsgroups unless
specifically requested by someone (and even then, use discretion, especially
if the graphic file is big), or unless it is a "binaries" group. A lot of
folks are still stuck with pay-by-the-minute dial-up connections and don't
want to have to download graphics files from a text-based newsgroup. (Your
file wasn't too big, so it's no biggie this time <g>)
