Or you can save as an earlier version so they don't have to worry about it.

No matter what, if they don't have PPT 2007, it WILL be converted to an earlier
version; personally, I'd rather do it for them myself so I can check for
problems with the conversion.
" If you want it to open automatically as a slide show, save as PowerPoint 97-
2003 Show (*.PPS) instead. "
How do I do that ? Save it as .pps ? I don't see that option when I click " Save As ".

2.) If I attach the PP in an e-mail, recipients without PP 2007 will not be
able to open the attachment which has a ' .ppsx ' file name extension.

As Alpha mentioned, others can install the compatibility pack, which'll let
them open PPTX and other office files in earlier versions of Office.

Or they can install the free PowerPoint 2007 viewer if they have no copy of
PowerPoint at all.

3.) There is an option I can save it in a format compatible to 97-2003 power
points. But, if I do that option, it is not a " finished " product which has
a ' .ppt '. file name extension.
Recipient with PP 2003 can open it, but need to click Slide Show tab, then
View tab before slideshow appears.

If you want it to open automatically as a slide show, save as PowerPoint 97-
2003 Show (*.PPS) instead.
