Re: Which format to convert PowerPoint 2007 for best viewing

However, I am still a little puzzled as to what "should better input a
high-quality video format into it instead of an already compressed one"
means.

Out of the following which should be the highest quality video format?

MPEG-1, MPEG-2, WMV, MOV, MP4

Is there some reason you're opposed to using AVI?

They're all capable of high quality video, but they'll all have to be
converted to DVD format if you create a DVD for a DVD player and regular
television.

AVI is a simpler format that's less likely to cause problems for your
DVD-making software.

In addition, AVIs simple compression is usually going to cause fewer
compression artifacts and other video problems.
