I have recently upgraded my PP from 2003 to 2007 and I have had all sorts of
problems. I have been communicating with you about an error message about not
being able to load the adds ons and after 25 messages back and forth I have
decided to live with this problem. Now I have another. When I try to save an
updated presentation I am not offered the option as saving as a .pps. I am
offered the option of saving as a 2003 .pps
A 97-2003 PPS, no?
That's the same old PPS you're used to.
or I can save it as a 2007 .ppsx.
What is the extra x and is this the same as the 2003.pps?
PPSX and PPTX and the other X-files are the new format that PPT 2007 uses.
They're NOT the same as 2003.
When I had loaded
Office 2007 I deleted all of my 2003 office but then I "lost" a lot of my
presentations so I did a custom load of the 2003 PP just to operate. How can
I resolve this issue and make my 2003 presentations visible to 2007 and can I
get the save as .pps back for the 2007?
Thanks
