Thank you very much. This works great! A little slow, but at least it
works!!! Now if I can just find a way to move the backspace key to another
key using a macro, it should be able to speed things up. Thanks again.

If you place the text cursor to the RIGHT of formatted text, any text you
type will take on the same formatting as the text preceding it. In other
words, new text takes on the formatting of the character to the left of the
insertion point/text cursor.
So click to the RIGHT of the letter you want to change, press backspace,
then type the new text.
