Hi everybody,
I want to write a help file ( User manual ) for my power point project. If
it's easy I would like to write something like Office help files , I think I
need a thrid party software for this and If it's not so easy them I will go
with the Idea of having a PDF or word file containing all the info for the
users. Has anyone here created a help files before and can give me some hints
where to start ? or any other suggestions?
If you're seriously geeky and have a huge supply of caffeine and time on hand,
you can create help files using Word and a free help compiler from MS.
Hint: Life is WAY too short unless you're thinking of just a few pages worth of
help. Basically, you really need a third-party tool
I've used a program called Help and Manual ( http://www.helpandmanual.com )
that's a bit pricey but very full featured ... it allows you to create help
files in several formats, PDFs, RTF (in effect, Word doc files) and more, all
from the same source info.
There are plenty of other apps available at a wide range of prices.
