Just as an FYI, you can turn off autosizing by right-clicking the textbox or placeholder and choosing Format Textbox. Then in the Format dialog, choose the Textbox tab and then uncheck "resize autoshape to fit text."

Thanks Sandy. I'll give it a try. It sounds like it will work better
than what I've tried before (copy slide and modify). When I did that,
PPT would auto-size fonts and mess it up.
