This is possible to do in Presenter's view, but definitely not intuitive.
When Presenter's view is running there are really 3 PowerPoint windows open.
The Presentation itself, on the screen
Presenter's view, maximized on the laptop
Edit View, hidden on the laptop
What you need to do to edit a slide is
Set-up ...
In PowerPoint => Tools => Options, Check the Windows in Taskbar option
During the show ...
Hit the Windows key to show the Task panel
Select the edit view window task - this will maximize the edit window on
the laptop and pause the slideshow
Navigate to the slide of interest
Edit it and save presentation (optional)
Either click on the "Resume slideshow" button if it is shown - or-
select the presenter's view task from the task bar (bottom of the screen)
and then select the SlideShow task

I'm going to be using PowerPoint at a Model United Nations conference.
At the conference we will need to be able to Edit slides (just type things
in) while displaying another slide.
Eg/ I need to write the results of a vote to slide 5 while displaying
slide
3 to the audience.
I'm thinking I could possibly do this in Presenter view or something?
(Just found a program called "OfficeOne PowerShow" that says it can do it,
but I'm not sure if I can install programs onto computers in school. I
can't
even download or run .exe, zip, scr, bat or com files so it would be best
to
be able to do it using PowerPoint.)
Thanks in advance.
