Hi, Can I not mail a .pps file that is 10.9 mb in size, through the normal
free web based mail systems, i.e. hotmail, yahoo, gmail? Can I reduce it
in
size any way? Zipping only reduces it to 10.4 mb. It is only 3 slides but
contains a wav file too. Any help please? PP2003 in use, tried Pack for
CD,
tried zip, tried PFC. Jay
An easy work around that is to use yousendit.com from your browser. It's
free and you can load large files there, enter the email address of your
sendee, and even write a short note to explain to him/her what this is all
about.
The addressee receives an email from yousendit.com with your note and a link
to download the file you posted there. Works like a champ. For a small
charge you can send files up to 1GB in size but files less than 500MB are
free.
