If you do not want the graphic to fill the table, you will have to use the
ungrouping method.

Ahh, very close to what I want.

I found the closest solution is to use the 'fill' option. I need to use
this table in many slides, and keeping it as a table, with these graphics as
'headers' for the top row is what I am looking for, more specifically.

As the graphics were already on the page, I had to save them as pictures
first. I tried different formats to see what would work best. So far, the
tif format seems to be the best one, but it gets enlarged and I lose the
colored background. I also tried with or without the 'lock picture aspect
ratio' and this did not seem to change this.

Is there any way to keep the graphic smaller, as it uses ~ 80% of the cell
currently, and stay transparent to allow the colored background to show
through?

I want to thank you for your help thus far, as I am getting much closer to a
ture solution.

You can select the pictures and table together before moving it. To select
them all, do a Ctrl-A, or select the table, hold down Shift key, then select
the pictures.

Another way is to ungroup the table. First, create a duplicate of the table.
This is because, you will not be able to add any new rows or columns after
ungrouping. The duplicate will serve as a backup.
Right click on the table, select Ungroup. When prompt, click Yes. Now, do a
Ctrl-A to select all the objects on the slide. Do a right click on any of the
selected objects, select Grouping > Group. Now, you will be able to resize
it.

Another method is to add the pictures as a fill. To do so, right click on
the cell, select Border and Fill. Select the Fill tab, click on the dropdown
and select Fill and Effects. Select Picture tab, look for the picture you
want to insert, and ok your way out.

I have a table that has several small graphics within the table. If I resize
the table, or move the teable all together, the graphic stays behind, then I
have to reposition the graphics.

In Word, this does not happen, as the graphics will move with the table.

Does anyone know a way to have the graphic move when the table is
moved/resized?
