who had a presentation with exactly these
symptoms. In that case it was because the Hyperlink Base for the presentation
was set to a mailto:blablah@xxxxxxxxxxx url.
Choose File, Properties and on the Summary tab, look at the Hyperlink Base text
box. Remove any text in it, save the presentation and test your links again.
