I don't see
black or light blue anywhere as a background on PP. Why is it changing
backgrounds on me and how do I stop it? Thanks
The JPG file format does not support transparency. Thus transparent parts of the image are substituted with another color, usually black or white (I don't know, where the blue comes from). Insert a rectangle of the background color of your website behind the logo you created and group it with the other elements. Then save as JPG, that should solve the problem.
