Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Try to transform your mpeg into an avi file

ok, you are way more tech savy than I am! The movie clip is mpeg. I used a
dvd ripper to save a 2 min clip from a dvd. I want to use it in my
teaching.
Any suggestions? But you have to tell me in language a nontechsavy person
can understand! :)

I can't insert a video clip in a ppt slide. All I get is a black area.
I
want to be able to click on the slide and have the clip begin to play.
I'm
using WIndows Video Player which I thought was capatible with ppt.

You can not play your presentations in Video Player bacause the ppt
file
format can not be decoded by
it. If you want to play it in this player you have to converter the
format
from ppt to video(AVI, MPEG,MOV, etc) by using some conversion pragram
like PPT2DVD(http://www5ppt-to-dvd.com/).

In addtion, in most cases, one can insert a video chip to a ppt slide.
Maybe there are some wrong settings so you fail to do so . You'd better
check up.
