Cricket, if you are willing, fee free to send me a copy of the ppt so that I
can see if it has been embedded correctly. You can email it to me at
pptheaven[at]gmail[dot]com.

Thanks for the quick response. As directed, I changed the options to link.
sounds greater than 7000 kb (my file is 5,900) and I added the sound under
slide transition and checked Loop until next Sound. Well, unfortunately that
didn't work. Now the sound doesn't play at all.
I'm using version 2003 - the "WAV Runs Through It" article referenced 2000.
Do 2003 users do something different???
I appreciate your fast reply.

I'm using Powerpoint 2003 -------
I created a short presentation with background music that plays while
the slides advance. I used an MP3 to start, but when I e-mailed it to
my boss she wasn't able to hear the music. So, I deleted the MP3 and
used a WAV file instead. Once again, she's not able to hear the music.
Could someone PLEASE give me detailed instructions on how to properly
EMBED songs into presentations (or whatever I need to do to get it to
play)? Also, it's important that the music plays throughout the
slideshow and not only on one slide.
THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!
Kristen
