Thanks John, I appreciate the suggestions, but none of the above have helped.
What if I go back and reinstall my XP version? Does it have package for CD
or Pack and Go. Heck I remember as farback as win 98 having Pack and Go
option. Maybe even in Win 95.

You're getting the Windows versions and PPT versions mixed up, I think.

Pack & Go and Package for CD are both PowerPoint features, totally independent of
your Windows version.

Reinstalling Windows will have no effect at all, other than possibly breaking other
things, wasting your time and making you grumpy. ;-)

Reinstalling Office may help, though. Try this:

Put in the Office 2003 CD, let the installer start.
It'll come up in Maintenance Mode.
Choose the top option, "Add or remove features ..."
Click Next

On the next screen make sure there's a check next to "Choose advanced customization
of applications" (sounds scary; in plain English it just means "Let ME choose what I
want to install"). Don't change anything else.

Click Next

In the next screen, click the + next to Microsoft Office PowerPoint and make sure
that Package For CD is set to "Run from my computer".

If it's already set that way, cancel out of the installer.
If not, set it so and click UPDATE and let the install complete.

Help??!! I'm running winXP and Office 2003.

Roger

Thanks for your replay.

I did it (I believe correctly) right clicked and clicked customize. The
two column subwindow opened and there was a list of menus on the left with a
list of commands on the right. File was highlighted. Package for CD was not
in the commands list. Just save as Web Page or Publish as Web Page.

I definitely have PPT2003 and it has SP2. It has plugins for Camtasia (movie
and Flash files) and Adbobe PDF

Hope we can solve this. Do appreciate your help.

Roger
