OK, I've got that here and have done some snapshotting from various PDFs w/o
problems, but it may depend on the PDF. If it's in CMYK rather than RGB and
doesn't get converted on being inserted into PPT, that might cause trouble.
Or it might just be the sheer size of the image.

I deleted the last 25 slides from the PPT and created them again. Last time
I had transferred some images by using the "Snapshot Tool" on Adobe Reader
acopy the images and paste them to PPT. This time I captured the images with
thescreen capture software and saved them as jpg and then pasted them on to
more checking onslides. I don't know why it made the difference but it is working very fast
now.
