Open PowerPoint, go to the Help menu, and choose Check for Updates.
Chances are good that installing the latest service packs for PowerPoint
will fix your problem.

A Powerpoint presentation I created in 1999 will not open. It says
there is an error accessing it, corrupted drive, OS failure, network
corruption, etc. I was able to find 4 copies scattered over the LAN
and old computers, but all give the same message.
I find it hard to believe that all went bad at once, as there are two
creation dates. Is this a problem becuase I am using PowerPoint 2003,
rather than data corruption? Is there a repair function for corrupted
presentations as there is for Access?
Thanks,
Mich
