Re: PP Hanging

Hard to say what is causing this to happen without knowing a great deal more about your network and serves. The fact is, it is a bad practice to try and run PPT across a network. You are much better off copying the presentation to the local hard drive.

Hi,

I'm using PowerPoint in a lab and I have two student computers that consistantly hang when using pp. Only on two
w/s, also the files they access are saved on a server, I can access any of those files from any other computer and I don't have the
hanging issue. I'm using Office XP with updates, I'm running Windows 2000 Pro.

Any thoughts

Thanks,

.
